My Story

Hello! I’m Lindsey. I am a UX/UI designer born and raised and currently based in North Carolina. 

Currently, I have a master’s degree in Digital marketing and advertising and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After graduating, I worked in the banking industry since I was excelling in that field. During my time with the bank, I was a teller, a processing assistant and then got promoted to a loan processor. At this point, you may be asking, ‘Lindsey, why did you want a career change when it seems like you’re doing well?’ I’m glad you asked; while I enjoy what I do, UX allows me to be challenges me creatively while also being able to cater client’s needs. 

Growing up, I enjoyed writing poetry and creating art, so I knew when I grew up I wanted a career in something creative. Before I started my UX/UI design journey, I did a lot of research to make sure that this was a field I wanted a career in; and it was. I loved that it was based around the ‘Why, What and How’ a product is used. During my college career, I constantly questioned why and what attracts users to the products they use. What features of a product was special why did users show loyalty to a company? I wanted to gain those answers while also being a part of a team that could create solutions for a product.

When I am not practicing design, I am either with my friends, traveling the world, finding new adventures or at home listening to music. I know my story isn’t linear but it’s mine and I am excited for my continued growth in this career.
